Los Angeles September 2024 Market Update

Hey there, Ana Mendoza here, I hope that this video finds you amazing. Happy October first, and it is going to be a beautiful, well, sunny time here in LA. But hopefully we start feeling the fall and Autumn time, because this is absolutely my favorite season. I'm here to give you your year over year market update for the month of September, now that it came and went; and the numbers were extremely interesting for homes to have sold under a million dollars in the city of Los Angeles. We had less homes come on the market: specifically, 239 homes compared to last year, 245. But, we had way more equity compared to last year. Okay? The year over year market update is from homes that have sold from September 2023 through September 2024, so just pay attention to that. 

We have 60K more in equity, which means that, if you're a seller or you own a home and want to know what you can do with that equity, now is the time to reach out to us, find out how we can help you build wealth through real estate; or also just get a market update, see what actually is happening in your neighborhood. That way, we give you good information when it comes to that. 

Days on market are around 40 days, they continue to stay steady; which is pretty much the time from when the house goes on the market through when it closes escrow or goes into escrow. So those are the numbers for that, for Desaun market. 

For buyers, the rates continue to drop. Election season is very interesting time, but we are foreseeing that the rates will continue to drop through the rest of the year, which is a great opportunity for you guys. And there is a lot of programs out there that can definitely help you get into today's market. We are very good at strategizing, coming up with a game plan, and then helping you successfully make that home buying journey a success and your American dream come true.

So, that's your market update for homes that have sold in the city of Los Angeles under a million dollars.
